Somewhere under the old kingdom there is a road, and at the end of it, a king's spire.
Everything between here and there wants you dead, and almost all of it is carrying something worth having.
Every region has its own enemies, its own camp and a boss at the end with a signature move.
Bosses hit hard and telegraph honestly: read the wind-up, step out of it, punish the opening.
The road is told by the people still holding it — a salvager who prices everything, a
quartermaster still issuing kit in a flooded works — fully voiced, subtitled, and skippable
when you would rather be hitting things.

I
Class: Warrior
Guards, builds Rage by hitting and being hit, and answers with a riposte. His dodge is a charge, not an escape.
II
Class: Hunter
Sets traps, marks targets and hits harder the further away they are — then vaults clear when it goes wrong.
III
Class: Mage
Commits to huge casts and lives with the consequences. Focus stalls after every spell; plan accordingly.
